Gastec Detector Tubes offer advanced technology that adds up to more accurate and reliable analysis with lower standard deviation. With detection limits for many chemicals lower than competitor limits, Gastec tubes detect trace levels of contaminants that competitors cannot. Additionally, Gastec’s higher maximum detection limits can provide a wider range of contaminant measurement.

Offering some of the broadest operating temperature ranges available, Gastec Detector Tubes can be used in virtually any environment—from 32°F to 104°F.

Each tube contains a reagent that is highly sensitive to the target substance and quickly produces a distinct color change when the chemical is present. While some competitor tubes display semi-quantitative results, Gastec Detector Tubes provide exact quantitative measurements. The pre-calibrated, direct-read detector tubes offer distinct lines of demarcation for easier viewing and require no interpretation, dual scales, or color charts.

To expedite analysis, many Gastec tubes require only 1 pump stroke. Alternatively, competitors can require up to 20 pump strokes to measure the same substance.

You can rely on Gastec quality. No other manufacturer has more detector tubes certified by the Safety Equipment Institute (SEI) than Gastec. To ensure the highest level of quality, Gastec products are manufactured in ISO-9001 certified facilities. Gastec Detector Tubes and Gas Sampling Pumps are designed, manufactured, and calibrated to work together to produce accurate readings.

Each box of standard Gastec Detector Tubes contains 10 tubes and can conduct 10 total tests. A comprehensive instruction sheet is included with each box.

The instruction sheets represented here are examples of the typical instructions for each part number. The actual instruction sheet found in each box of Gastec detector tubes may vary slightly for each lot number of detector tubes from the typical instruction sheet found here. FOR PROPER PERFORMANCE, CONSULT THE ACTUAL INSTRUCTIONS IN EACH BOX OF DETECTOR TUBES.
